Actress Gopika who was introduced into Kollywood by director Cheran in his movie “Autograph” got engaged on 22nd May 2008 in a simple ceremony.
Gopika from Ollur near Trichur in Kerala is tying the scared knot with Dr.Ajilesh who is settled in London. The wedding is said to take place on July 17 at Kothamangalam in Kerala.
Actress cum dancer and two times national award winner Shobana is back to Mollywood. Shobana is curently doing a small part in the movie “Musafir” . This movie is being shot at Dubai. The other casts of the movie are Rehman, Bala and Mamta. This movie is said to be a musical action thriller which has six songs in it.
The movie is directed byPramod-Pappan, dialogues by Babu Janardhanan. The screenplay of the movie is actually a story written by Suneer Hamza.
At last after eight long years Jayaram’s movie “Magic Lamp” has been relased in Kerala on the 30th of May 2008. This movie directed by Haridas has Jayaram, Meena, Samyuktha, Divya Unni, Jagathy and Indrans in lead roles.
The backround music is scored byOuseppachan, lyrics byRanjit and the dialogues by Sibi-Udayan. In this movie Jayaram plays four different roles.
