Actress Simran was approached to play the role of Pasupathy’s wife in the film ‘Kuselan’. It was said the actress refused the offer. Some sections of the media said that Simran’s unacceptable conditions made the director P. Vasu to look for other choices of heroines. Simran could not give her dates to the director for the film as she was committed to act in a TV serial, which is jointly produced by Pyramid Saimira and Jaya TV.
Now it seems that Simran is very much interested in acting in the film. Meanwhile, the director approached Tabu to play the role but due to some reasons the actress was dropped. Then the director came back to Simran asking her to give just 15 days of call sheet. Simran was pleased to accept the offer and she has decided to talk to the concerned persons.

The popular comedian Senthil’s son, Manikanda Prabu, is getting married. Manikanda is marrying Janani Priyavanditha on February 3rd in Madurai. They both are BDS graduates. Goundamani, Senthil’s companion on screen, will preside over the marriage function. Goundamani never attends any function however close the person may be.
But he has changed his habit for his long term partner. The reception will take place on February 6th in Chennai. Many of the film personalities including politicians will be participating in the function.

Superstar Rajinikanth’s next film is ‘Kuselan’ which is directed by P. Vasu and produced by Balachander. The director is in a hunt for a heroine. Recently Nayantara has been approached to play the role. The actress is yet to sign the dotted lines. The director is aiming to rope 20 actors and actresses in the film for guest appearances. When the director was asked about this he said that he has approached twenty stars but their participation will depend on their availability.
The producer Balachander is the guru of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan and the director P. Vasu is considered to be close to both of the actors. So everyone are eagerly waiting to hear the news that if Kamal will also be part of the film. The fans of both the stars are craving to see both of them together on the screen.
