‘Aitraaz’, the Hindi blockbuster film is to be remade in Tamil. The Hindi version featured Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The film went on to become a huge hit and boosted Akshay to fame. The Tamil remake would have Srikanth in the lead role. Rajeshwar would wield the megaphone for the film.
Rajeshwar directed the films like ‘Amaran’, ‘Seevalaperi Pandi’ and ‘Kovilpatti Veeralakshmi’. The director has approached Namitha to do the heroine role in the film. The film is about a young girl marrying an old rich man. Srikanth is currently busy acting in the films ‘Poo’ and ‘Ettappan’.

Prakash Raj is currently busy producing three films ‘Abhiyum Nanum’, ‘Vellithirai’ and ‘Mayilu’. He would commence another film very soon. The film would be directed by K.V. Guhan and the title of the film would be ‘Inidhu Inidhu’. Guhan had handled camera for ‘Mozhi’.
Prakash Raj says that he was very much impressed by the script of Guhan. The story of the film revolves around the youth of 18-23 age groups and it deals with the friendship between boys and girls.

Actor-director S.J. Suryah is keen on an image makeover. He is known for spicy scenes on screen in his films. However he is cautious in avoiding such scenes in his forthcoming film ‘Vil’. Suryah started his career with the hit film ‘Vaali’ and followed it up with ‘Kushi’. He entered acting through the film ‘New’ following ‘A…Ah’. He says that he is branded as the actor who speaks loud on the screen.
He says that now it is time for his image makeover and ‘Vil’ is an attempt in this direction. Suryah says that he was impressed by the script of ‘Vil’ when the debutant director narrated him and he immediately accepted to act in the film. NIC Arts Chakravarthy was gratified to produce the film. Sherin would be doing the female lead in the film.
