After playing the role of a rationalist leader in ‘Periyar’, Sathyaraj has expressed his desire to play the role of freedom fighter and revolutionary Nethaji Subash Chandra Bose. Sathyaraj is currently busy acting in Thangar Bachan’s film ‘Onbathu Rubai Nottu’. He says that he read the novel of Thangar Bachan few years ago and was impressed by the role of Madhavan Padayachi.
He says that he is thrilled donning the role on the bug screen. Sathyaraj got many offers after ‘Periyar’ and he says that he wants to be very particular in choosing the perfect film. He is currently acting in half a dozen of films including ‘Thangam’. The shooting for ‘Kannamoochi Yaenada’ is complete and he is waiting for the release of the film.

‘Machakkaran’ is shaping up fast and is to be completed very soon. Jeevan is ready to commence his next film titled ‘Payanigal Kavanathirku’. The film is to be directed by Vijayakumar and is to be produced by ELK Productions. Jeevan says this film is different from his earlier films.
The entire story of the film is to be taken in a train. Jeevan plays the role of a youth, who wins the hearts of the passengers in the train. Search is on for a heroine to play the role opposite Jeevan. ‘Machakkaran’ would be released for Diwali.

Actor Murali completes a century in Tamil Cinema. He would be commencing for his 100th film very soon. He would be acting in the film titled ‘Karanam’ which is to be directed by Vaseegaran and is produced by S.K. Vijayan. Murali has rendered several hit films. Murali pars up with Nivedha in the film ‘Karanam’.
Sreeman, Nizhalal Ravi and Thalaivasal Vijay also play the prominent roles in the film. Srikanth Deva scores the music and A. Sivamani handles the camera. The film is to hit the screens in October.
