None of us can forget the charm girl Laila, who conquered every hearts by her excellent performance in the movie Pithamagan. She had done quite a lot of films in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam industries. Laila quit acting after her marriage in January 2006. Now she has delivered a baby boy in Mumbai. Both Laila and the baby are fine says reliable news. She got married to a businessman Mehdi last year.
Jothirmayi who acted in Thalainagaram along with Sundar C, has many offers in hand. Her next movie Naan Avanillai is all set for release. The movie Naan Avanillai will have Sneha, Malavika, Namitha and Keerthi Chawla in pivotal roles. Jothirmayi plays the role of an orthodox Malayalee girl in the movie. When asked about the multi-heroine subject Jothirmayi had said that she hesitated in the beginning but after hearing the story she was convinced since every heroine is given equal importance in the movie.
The recent release of Thiruvilayadal Arambam which stared Dhanush has completed 100 days of run. Boopathy Pandian had directed the movie. Earlier Dhanush and Bhoopathy Pandian teamed up for a movie Devadhaiye Kanden which was a commercial hit and the success story continues in the movie Thiruvilayadal Arambam too. Dhanush is currently busy working in Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram, Polladavan and Yaradi Nee Mohini.
