The life of the great leader Periyar is being filmed by Gnanasekharan who has done extensive research on the life and behavior of the leader and has now started the shooting of the movie. Sathyaraj is doing the role of Periyar and recently Khusbhoo and Sathyaraj were in Trichy for the shooting of the movie. Khusbhoo is very happy that she is donning the role of Maniyammai in the movie Periyar. Strict security arrangements have been made to avoid problems in the shooting of the movie.

Thirumavalavan directed movie is Ajantha that is being shot in all the four South Indian languages. The movie is starring Ramana with Vandana Gupta in Tamil and Vandana with Sai Kiran in Telugu. The Malayalam version will star Vinu Mohan and Honey Rose and the Kannada version will have Honey Rose and Venkatesh. Mano Bala, Madan Bop and Crane Manohar are also starring in the Tamil movie with Ramana. It has also been planned by the producer that 60% of the movie’s earnings is to be donated to the orphan children.
The most important thing is that the movie is to have 36 songs that have been composed by Illayaraja. The movie is sure to enter the Guinness Book of Records as no other movie even in the classic days had so many songs.

Until date the highest paid actor in Bollywood was Aamir Khan who was paid 7 crores for the movie Rang De Basanti. Now Hrithik Roshan is the one who is being paid about 11 crores and a total of about 35 crores for starring in three movies for Adlabs Films, a production company owned by Manmohan Shetty. He is paid the entire amount through cheque and is also paying the tax properly.
